Celebrity Hair Trends for Fall 2008

Celebrity Haircuts presents Celebrity Hair Trends Fall 2008

When it comes to hairstyles, trends come and go with each passing year. So, what are the big celebrity looks for the Fall 2008? Perhaps the number one trend is looking natural. Stars want to look like they were born looking gorgeous. Bold, fake colors are definitely out, and few stars will be risking any pink chunks or black/platinum streaks this year.

Instead, both men and women are opting for highlights that add depth and dimension without looking artificial. For some highlighting inspiration, check out Eva Longoria’s locks or David Beckham’s streaks. As far as cuts go, texture seems to have replaced the pin-straight look. Stars are seeking razored edges, long layers, and angled pieces.

This means hair looks more playful, lively, sexy, and, again, natural. ‘Dos that look like they took minutes instead of hours to prepare are what’s in style. As for length, going short is a big trend among everyone from Victoria Beckham to Katie Holmes.

The edgy bob is definitely still in style, and more and more stars are taking the plunge and cutting their hair. On the other end of the spectrum, some stars are battling the bob trend by showing off their very long, volumous locks. Miley Cyrus, Carrie Underwood, and Sarah Jessica Parker are just a few who are proud of their long, luscious hair.

Ultimately, this year’s celebrities want to appeal to the public by sporting hairstyles that look like they could fit anyone. Don’t worry, though, stylists will still be happily employed all year. After all, for stars, looking natural still requires irons, dye jobs, and extensions; they’re just a little less noticeable.
